Reporting to the confidant

Vitaal! provides the organisation where you work with a confidant. This means that if you encounter undesirable behaviour or integrity violations you can report it to the confidant. Read further to find out more about how this process works and how to make a report.

What is undesirable behaviour or integrity violation?

Your experience matters

Undesirable behaviour or a violation in the field of integrity, it is a type of behaviour, which is perceived by you as threatening, humiliating or intimidating. It is therefore about your perception. It is behaviour of another person that makes you report to a confidential advisor. For example, about bullying, discrimination, theft, fraud or (sexual) harassment.

If you have any doubts about whether your situation could be considered undesirable behaviour or an integrity violation, fill in the form and you can then discuss it with the confidant.

Will my employer be informed of my report?

Anonymous

The answer to this question can be short and clear: absolutely not, unless you want to. The report you make remains strictly confidential between you and the confidant. Unless a criminal offence is involved, in which case the confidant has a duty to report it. You can think about theft and fraud. It may be that you choose a route that requires you to talk to your employer. In that case, you will no longer be anonymous. You are in charge and decide which steps you want to take.

I can talk to you in Dutch, English and German. In any other language, I am happy to talk to you with an interpreter. This is a sworn interpreter, who is therefore also trusted''
